I have a 10ER I inherited from my dad who bought it in the late 1940's I believe. I sent the model number and serial number in to SS and the best answer I was able to get back was that it was made between 1947 and 1952. Does anyone know how to pin that down?

I'm trying to learn how to size my 1.6MB photo to a 11KB or 800x600. I'm better at sizing wood, I guess. I've seen other guys post nice sized pix...... I guess there's a learning curve that's a little above my head so far.

Sounds like the wrong tool for the job. Plus that's sacreligious to use a good tool on particleboard....ugh! Good luck, however.
