Router System

Im fairly new to Routers...I want a router table...been looking at the SS Overarm Pin Router system and the Incra system....
HELP-------Which one would be more versiable???? I will just be doing simple projects--no cabinet doors or the likes..

I can't answer your questions mostly because I don't have an OPR. That in itself says something. You be the judge.

I do have a router table in fact I have two. The first one I bought served me very well and I can not say today that I really needed to upgrade but I did. The second one serves me equally well and is mounted on a full time basis so that I can use it at will. I do not have the Two-Piece Pro Fence that is advertised as being part of this system. I just have the table system (555995) shown in the link above.

Routers and router tables are like everything else in this hobby. The sky is the limit. You can easily spend your pay check many times over. It seems like everyone has "something better" that they want to sell you and they say this without knowing just how you would use it if you had it.

For what it's worth especially if you aren't doing really big or heavy work, here are a couple of cheap easy solutions that I've dreamed up. Both could be cleaned up as both worked so well as prototypes that I didn't bother building "finished models".

Check out THIS site. I have been a member there for a few years and the guys there can pretty much take care of any questions you may have about everything router related. I now have 6 routers with one of them mounted in a table that I built. After you check out the site you just may opt to build your own table.
If you can afford it, I would suggest the Incra System if you are looking for dead on accuracy in your routing. IMHO, it's the best available.
