Mortising & Tendon package

Help here is what I have...see pictures..I have tried about every way I can think of..The inserts are to loose or to tight..Could you give me some quidance to how to set this up???

Sorry, that's not Shopsmith's mortise and tenon set and I don't think it is going to work with a Shopsmith. Here's the mortise set from Shopsmith for comparison purposes. http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/cata ... _pkg_l.jpg

For installation on a stand alone drill press, I have a very similar unit on my press, works very well. Hope this was helpful.

Hmj, looks like if you were to spot weld all pieces into one object you could wind up with a fine dinghy anchor.
Put it up for sale in the San Francisco paper, say it was made by transvestites and you could get Any price!

You have an AMT mortising attachment kit. It was available with different quill diameters. The chisel shank diameter is 3/4"(ss are 5/8"). The model for a 1 3/4" quill is A732M. If yours is larger than 1 3/4", an adapter should be possible(I believe that is what those split rings are).

Thanks I found out the hard way :D Now to decide whether to get the SS. or buy a dedicated unit..
