New Project for lathe

So we were at cabelas yesterday, and they had a whole bucket of fishing rod ends that were either broken or missing the pair for $1 each. So I picked up three to make some ice fishing rods. Not sure what I am going to do for the handle on them yet, probably just some simple wood for now. If they turn out nice, I will have to run down and pick up a bunch more and make some nicer handles for them.

will post some pics once I get one done. still working on my box. I finished it, but don't like it, so starting over.
