If you keep a look out you can find Family Handyman for $5 a year about once every 2 months with subscriptions up to 4 years. One just expired, but I expect it will come around shortly.

I found this website, it is Russian (do not be afraid to scroll down the page and you will see a lot of titles in English that you will recognize relating to old issues of magazine that you can download. Also many books. They are PDF and printable in : The Art of Woodworking section.
And those titles are English originals scan of those books and magazines. Down the page, the list of magazine there are in HTML and you can consult and print the page you are interested in ....

Woodsmith, Fine Woodworking, Shop Notes.
I could (tho I'd really miss it) do without Shop Notes IF I kept Woodsmith, 'cause there is some duplication twixt the two, but Shop Notes is more Shop oriented stuff, WS the house.
Fine Woodworking has given me some very nice ideas- and a few plans- that I've not seen anywhere else. Otherwise lotsa eye candy.

(I should note I've been getting all three on and off- mostly on- since the 80's when I got my SS.)

But Woodsmith is the Big Kahuna. It and S-N have NO ADVERTISING. Most if not all other WW type mags are mostly advertising. There are few words in a WS I can't use or enjoy, and their plans are essentially perfect, relatively speaking.

A modest investment, methinks, is in WS (maybe and SN) on DVD now. 99 bucks gets you the whole life of the mag on DVD. Cover to cover, 200 some issues. Searchable, printable, always available.

I've looked at a few other mags over time, and like some, but can't stand getting an issue, reading the one or two interesting items almost hidden in amongst the ads, and putting it down- finished- ten minutes later.

I don't subscribe to any print journals at present, but I enjoyed poring over my father in law's issues of Fine Woodworking.

I've been getting a lot out of Marc Spagnuolo's videos on YouTube, and he has a website too, http://thewoodwhisperer.com/ There's lots of free stuff, but you can also buy a subscription to members only videos and features.

Print Screen for me copies an image to the clipboard. After pasting into Paint Shop Pro I didn't find the image to be very readable and it was only that particular screen not the entire article. I was trying to get a copy of the Popular Mechanics article for the wooden version of the Mark VII base. Acutally I may have that copy of PM from my Dad's collection, somewhere in a box.........

Print screen 'captures' the screen contents to the clip board.

"right click" - 'save page as' will write the entire html page to a file.

Irfanview is my preferred pix manipulator. Tis a free ware goodie.

Camerio's link worked well. Able to see that I'm not really a big fan of the older content. Woodworking projects have changed a lot in the last twenty years, although I knew that because of the stacks of Woodsmith magazines I got with my Mark V were full of country themed items.

Just got an offer to renew from Popular Woodworking for $20 with a free gift subscription. Maybe I can find someone to split this with? Might have to use my Ebay account again.

If you have Windows 7, the "Windows" Key and the "S" key held together will start the "snipping" tool which I have come to love. Much more versatile than the "Print Screen" button.
