This is my first post after joining this forum several month ago. I saw my first ShopSmith demo in Tucson, AZ in the early 1980s and every year at the Oregon State Fair when they had them. Well last month I ordered the Mark 7 with as many bells and whistles as my set aside savings could afford. Yesterday I received a call indicating that my order had shipped, well most of it anyway. Some items are on back order. I fell like a kid again.

Congratulations I hope you will enjoy yours Mark 7 as much as I do mine. One word of warning, this is a habitual undertaking. Welcome aboard. Jim

I can't even imagine how cool it would be to see the truck pull up with a new Mark VII in it for me

After 28 years of wishing I picked my new 510 (1988) up at the store in Indy (those were the days when I could go to the store and pick up about anything I wanted Shopsmith)
