I accepted an invitation to a webinar which I watched on Saturday. So now I am really considering a new headstock and tilt package for my 1991 510 converted to a 520. I would rather get the new headstock than convert mine and with buying the tilt package I would only be a tube cut in half and a base cabinet from a nice power station for my bandsaw and a sanding station.
I enjoy my 520 and it would be nice to have the new techology but I really wonder if I want to sink $2,000 into my shop with this purchase. I like the thought of the slow speed for bowl turning and the higher speed for routing and shaping. More power for the tablesaw would be nice as well. A quieter machine would also be nice.
You guys can't help me but just thought I would warn you about accepting the invite and receiving the time loaded 10% discount. Money is a funny thing, once you spend it it's gone.

It's been long enough that my "limited time" email has disappeared, but I have NO trouble sleeping at night dreaming about my new PP, My only tossing and turning is that I have to wait until SS comes through a local Lowe's so I can use their card and pay over 18 months!
If I didn't want to wait for the discount, I could just order it from Lowe's on line, but the demo days discount pays for the shipping plus a bit.
