Power Pro 240 / 120 Volts

I attended a SS Demo at Lowes to see the PP in action. When the topic of 120 / 240 V compatibility came up the discussion turned to the possibility of having and using either or by way of adding a pig tale to the cord or making or buying some type outlet box to plug the 120 plug into which had the appropriate 240 plug type at the other end. Is this possible, and if so how?

I made up a 12' long pigtail with a 220V male plug on one end an a 120V female on the other end. I marked the female end as 220V in red.

What gauge wire did you use for the pigtale?

It is possible because the power supply is designed to operate over a voltage range that includes both 115v and 230v.

There is no direct connection from the power source to the motor.
