4-inch Jointer?
Looking for a 4-inch SS Jointer, reasonably priced...
How often do you really intend to use it? If like, very seldom, then look at Harbor Freight.
I tend to grab my power plane for a quick edge. I use the SS convex sanding disc to edge clean pieces most of the time. My 4" planer gets pulled out when I have a rough or dirty board that I want to clean up. Not often at all.

I gave up on the jointer problem. I backed up, thought about it, and decided to buy a biscuit jointer, and a belt sander instead. Between the two, I should be able to "turn-out" some pretty good lumber...and yes, I bought the belt sander on ebay, 54% of retail cost, "used" but taken care of...kalynzoo wrote:How often do you really intend to use it?
