Labels lose grip

Post by texomawood »

I recently had to replace my Shopsmith and all my SPT's due to a fire in my shop. I have noticed that all the "silver & red" warning stickers on the Mk V and SPT's are coming loose and peeling off. The tool is less than a month old. I looked to see if there was oil or anything else that could cause an issue but there is nothing obvious.
Has anyone else had this issue? I did not have this issue on my 1979 tool.

I just got a double tilt and the labels will not stay on them.

I would think some emblem or general purpose adhesive would be appropriate to reattach such a sticker.

I have used clear shipping tape over the top of them. It seems to work. I was more concerned if the problem was wider than just my unit.;)
