New ShopSmith Owner

Post by mebozart »

Hey guys, I have just gotten a shopsmith given to me. I have a few questions. The machine that I have is very old. A buddy of mine had it in his parents garage and it had been there for about 22 years. Before that it belonged to his great grandfather. I believe it was purchased maybe in the 50's? Anyhow the SN is ER37752. My question is where can I find info about this machine such as general maintance, owners manual etc? I have tinkered around with it but mostly trying to get it fully operational, after sitting for 20+ years its pretty rough. Any help and advice you all can give would help.

Thanks,
Matt

Hey Matt! Good to hear from you! What part of the World to you call home?
You can, if you wish just go back to the "User CP" (in the left side of the above red line) and type in your part of World.

Now to answer your question, the best I can. It appears to me you have a jewel of a 10 ER machine. I know very little about them, but here is a page that will lead you to manuals and some parts lists. Let us know if this helps.

If the 10 ER wasn't a good guess - Send us a photo of your machine = someone will help you!
