I have yet to build this, however I was looking at the page with miter angles and table tilt to make frames, etc. and thought it might be nice to make a cheap jig to set the tables on the saw and band saw.

First adjust the table to approximately where you want the tilt using the scale on the trunnion or the wixey-igauging/digital scale. Tighten the trunnion lock.
Hook the jig over the far way bar and move it under the edge of the table (you could clamp the closest end of the jig if you feel the need). This assumes you will use the jig between the headstock and the table.
Loosen the bolt and wing nut holding the upright piece of the jig then move it up to within 1/4" (or there abouts) of the bottom of the edge of the table. I have the Micro adjust with the middle even with the table edge. Tighten the wing nut.
Screw the micro adjust (or knob if you made that one), until it just touches the bottom of the table.
Loosen the trunnion lock, Watching the digital gauge (or bevel angle or whatever you are using to set the precise angle). Screw or unscrew the micro adjust until you have the desired tilt angle. Tighten the trunnion lock.
For the bandsaw, I would think that tilting the table too much and then using the adjuster to push up on the table might be less hassle. I think I'd prefer that method for the saw table, also, but by leaving some wiggle room when first setting the upright, you allow yourself the chance to lessen the angle as well as increase it.
The components are really simple

Cut the portion that fits over the way bars from scrap plywood
The upright piece can be ripped from a 2x4 and the glue blocks in between are part of the same ripped piece.
Mortice slots in the upright and way tube pieces for a 1/4" or 3/8" bolt with wing nut (or knob if you want more torque)
The picture shows two different upright pieces. One if you use the Micro adjust (you will need to turn down an end to fit the 1 1/4" bore of the micro)
OR drill a hole (I would think at least 2" deep) in the end of one, insert a T thread (or something similar) that will accept the thread of the knob.
I download the knob from the Warehouse so it has no threaded rod, sorry)
Also I really didn't want to try and take the time to find, scale and insert the bolt and wing nut. Yep, I am lazy!
You can't see it, but I have the digital angle gauge magnets using the miter slide bar to hold it. I would tighten the bar in place just to avoid any minor changes in the readings, but I'm not certain it is needed.
Dusty's table is at 6.4 degrees for anyone who might be curious.

Table Tilt Micro Adjust #2
I don't have to do this very often but when I do this micro adjuster is a life saver.
My solution is not near as elegant as Benush presented but it cost me nothing and it works. I do intend to develop some sort of device to capture the edge of the table but until then...

I know that there are ways (thought time consuming sometimes) to get close without all the hoopla but when you get close and need just a little tweak...this works great. Limited only by the accuracy of the Wixey (or is that the resolution of the Wixey).
