Well, I feel like an idiot .... OK I am an idiot

I walked away yesterday after getting frustrated. Came in here to whine. Today, getting ready to leave out for California for a week or so. We will be in Big Bear above LA, come on up and enjoy the cool if you want. Anyway. I checked my work .... Quill lock check, table lock check, bolts on fence tight, check, PH way tube lock, check, table way tube lock, check, spindle set screw on the cutter ..... OH (*&^%^$#.

So lesson learned. Won't have time to ruin more stock until we get back, but lesson learned.

Thanks everyone. The ER is dissembled currently and I am still cleaning her up though her parts are really looking good, she will look brand new when I get done. I will try doing some of this on the ER when I get her back together, cool idea. Great ideas and techniques from all thanks for the help guys! I will try them!

Soooo, that is kind of like a ..... hazing??????:D

Hazing is the practice of rituals and other activities involving harassment, abuse or humiliation used as a way of initiating a person into a group.

Absolutely not intended as a hazing -- but if it helps..... that's a good thing.

I have tried several times to avoid errors like that - still trying!

I was a bit of a Rock and Roll fan as in "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll (But I Like It)". I got married in the 70's, sobered, and listened to the words. Insane! I listen to my neighbor's occasionally when he works outside now. When I get sick of it I turn on another Shopsmith or plane something.

I have played saxophone for 50 years, classically trained and did the jazz junk, RandB, country, etc etc. I finally found my groove a decade or so ago. I really like laid back ethereal music and the "beautiful music" genre(Celtic Woman, Celtic Thunder, Lorina McKennit, etc.). I know it is not for everyone, but I record my sax and synthesizers/keyboards for myself, I have some very limited downloadable stuff on the Internet, if someone else likes it, great, but it is recorded for me .... I could just not get into the screaming that became rock in the 70's. The do wap era was great as was the early country/western (Marty Robbins, Merl, Willie, Jim Ed Brown, etc.). Still listen to the old stuff occasionally, Hell I am just glad I can still hear ....
