Beautifully restored 10ER

Post by tnvol »

Not mine, I was just so impressed that I saved this image from a Craigslist ad some time ago. I had posted this pic in another thread after someone had recommended getting a second SS and that I should consider a 10ER. Thought this fine restoration was worth its own post.

I believe that was "MickyD"'s machine. if not a clone. I am restoring to a slightly modified paint scheme as that one. A beautiful machine indeed!

Credit is do where credit is!! Love that color scheme!! I have 3 in the original, just need a buff, and wax. That old leaded paint durability cant be matched. Like porcelain on tubs and sinks, once they took the lead out, junk that last 5 years!!! I demoed 70 year old tubs from Kohler, the glaze/porcelain was 3/32" thick, and minus some soap scum, like new!!!!!!!
Measure once, cut as many times as needed to get it right! Bob
