I think you need to properly understand the meaning of the word. It implies TOTAL self delusional elevated opinion of one's self and expectation of the world to serve at your pleasure with a large dose of vanity thrown in.

I do have strong opinions on many things - the result of honest observation of past experiences and always subject to change with new information.

I do not place labels on individuals. I respect all who come forth with honest, honorable intentions. Even those who have a different viewpoint created by different experience than I. If I do not pay attention to those, then I learn nothing from them.

I also think total seriousness is a plague and feel compassion for those who do not have a well developed sense of humor.

I do 'fool around a lot', but it is not the only thing I do here.

It is not easy to 'share' knowledge without appearing to be a know it all, but if I were narcissistic, being considered such would be traumatic. Me, I really do not care about that as long as it helps someone else.

Sorry for all the "I"s, but felt a need to 'defend' my reasons for what I do.

I consider those who stomp off in a huff to match your adjective more accurately. I would not call them that though.

Congratulations, you got the definition absolutely correct. Let me point out that narcissistic personalities are not aware they have the trait. Also let me point out that I never actually said you were narcissistic or called you out by name as being that way but for some reason you seem bent on defending yourself. Your personality on this forum is who you are and always will be so have at it.

I state I listen to opposing opinions as a way to learn

I am still listening. Chose thy words carefully, as I place little value on emotional outburst. I respect Dusty for being direct and non-emotional(as is usual for him).
