This thread, posted by reible, may answer your question.

I have a router table and router where I do most all of my router work. If not there, I use a router free hand.

What would you attach them to on the M7?

I think the answer to your question is no.

I concur that there is no easy way to use a bushing as you would on a handheld router. Although I suppose that you could make an adapter that mounts to the quill like a mortising attachment.

However, it would be pretty easy to use a Mark 7 as an overarm pin router. I'd make a sled that keys to the miter slots on the table, with a threaded hole to accept one of the standard OPR pins. Align the pin with the router bit, lock down the table and sled, and you're ready to route. With this setup, of course, the template would go on the underside of the workpiece, and guide on the pin.

I don't think there is a much of an issue. You can do it one of two ways. First you can use a 1/2 shank flush trim router bit which essentially gives you a template bearing setup or you can use it in shaper mode with a cutter that has flush bearing or bushing which I believe SS sells. But I think in both instances a router either handheld or stationary will give you better results.

I guess it would be better if I explained why I need it. My router table has an insert that will take the bushing. I have a jig for doing dovetails (and more) that uses the template bushing to rout the fingers. I was hoping to eliminate my router table if possible.
