Watch stand

Post by colday »

Being a bit of a tech, both my wife and I now have the new Apple Watch. I could not find a dual charging stand, so I'm making my own.

Slick! Perfect solution for the inductive power transfer technology that is becoming popular. Cool idea!

Very nice, Colday!

Assuming they are on your charger overnight, Are the alarms both set at different times?

This is a fine example of innovating your own to meet the need :D

Great technique book match joinery on the upright. Super nice work! :D

Thanks y'all!

This is totally my creation as I could not find one dual charger stand, and then it actually kind of kept changing through the process. I was going to run the cables down the back in a grove like most of the other Watch stands, but then thought about a tunnel to fit the USB plug down through the bottom then out the back side.

We don't have any plans right now to use them for wake up alarms, she (and you know who she is) wants it on the dresser which is across the room.

The book match was an absolute gift, as I didn't even notice it until I was looking at the pictures! :D

I have a second one that I'm working on, and when it is near completion we will decide which we like best and probably sell the other one.
