Last two unknown parts

I have to say the first part looks like an adapter for a tool rest(upside down in the picture). The dimensions don't look right but still......... This would allow a 5/8" tool rest to mount in to a 1" hole with the threaded fastener from the holder going thru the adapter(see hole) to hold the tool rest.

The second part looks as was mentioned an extension for the shopsmith live center. If you have the live center screw the head off and try it.
