box joints too tight

Great news, and it only took .003" to do it! Some people feel that such small numbers don't have a place in woodworking but now you know better.

Yes, I'm "some people" mentioned above. Yes I still think such small numbers don't go with woodworking. With box joints, a tap on the side of the jig would do the same thing with no need to measure.

However, it is the measuring to the thousanths on the width or length of a carcas member that bugs me most. Or the setting of the saw table referenced to the blade at 90 degrees to a hundredth degree, or the jointer fence to the hundredth of a degree. etc.....

Oh well, we do what we think is needed.
