Yup, big as life. I hardly ever come in through shopsmith.net but maybe there is good reason to.

Wheeeeeez!!!! There I took a breath and I do feel better. But there seems to be one or two that travel around the internet planting seeds of doubt and I can't figure out why.

I suspect it may be one or more of these.

1. They are mad ex shopsmith employees.

2. They have stockpiled a supply of SS parts and figure if SS goes away their stockpile worth will go up.

3. They are hoping to buy SS at a low cost should it close.

4. I may be as you say inexperienced people that don't know any better.

5. Or they are bed wetting thumb sucking commies that just love to plant bits of negativisms where ever they can.

BTW I just received my 'clearance sale' 500 5/8" arbors. Order was placed @ 00:45 on 04Feb . . . arrived @ 11:45 on 05Feb.

Who do I complain to about having to wait 35 HOURS!!!!!!:p:rolleyes:

I'm really starting to believe some people want to see Shopsmith fail for what ever reason and they keep finding fault. I don't know if they think if SS fails they can buy it, or that they can run a parts business if SS fails, or if they think their SS will increase in value but it seems they take every chance they can to take a pot shot at the company. WHY?????????

I know every order I have ever placed with SS was handled by super people, some things were backordered but I was promptly made aware of the reason and expected delivery date and given the choice whether I wanted to wait or not. Yes sometimes the phones are busy, but in nearly every case it was expected, near noon or toward the end of the day. However I have found if I try in mid morning, mid afternoon they promptly take my call. I don't do much mail order business but again I have never had a problem with SS. I have with other companies, which makes me wonder why is so many are faulting SS???

Actually, what I was doing, was sharing my customer service experience. This is my last post on this thread.

Some days this forum is funnier than the Blue Collar Comedy Hour. Good for a grin or a laugh once in awhiile. Is also good therapy sort of like making sawdust.

Thanks, Bob! If found it thanks to you. I was trying shopsmith.com, and when I didn't see what you were talking about I tried shopsmith.net and found I did indeed have a personalized page I never knew existed!
