Cutting PVC
Which is better. Cutting PVS sheet & pipe which is 3mm thick on the Band saw with a 1/4 blade or on the table saw with a carbide blade. I've tried the Bandsaw & it works fine. I haven't tried it on the table saw yet. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.
I use a hack saw, for the larger pipes - a rotating pipe cutter for smaller pipes.
A band saw will have the limitation of the throat for length of cutoff.
Whichever power saw you use - be aware the saws will have a strong tendency to rotate the pipe.
Either power saw can be used for cutting sheet goods.
