Shopsmith Model 620

I have inherited a Shopsmith Model 620 and need help in selecting a price to sell this to a friend of mine. I honestly do not have a clue what I have and he has no clue how much it is worth. Does anyone out there have a clue? I do know that this Shopsmith is extremely old and came from a greatgrandfather. Any help would be great. Thank you.

I do believe that you have probably made a typo. There is no Model 620! Maybe a Model 520.

If it is a 520, your Great Grandfather must have been fairly active in his woodshop. The 520 is a relatively new machine and has many of the latest developments. Assuming it has been properly cared for, you should expect to get a good price for it.

I suggest that you call Shopsmith (1-800-543-7586) and talk to customer service. They will be able to give you a current price on a NEW machine. Do ask about the going price of a used machine. The accessories that you have for the machine might be worth more than the machine itself. You have a bit of homework to do in order to be sure.
