1st completed wood project

I have been looking for the perfect project for me. I found it, making pens, I completed my first one. No it's not perfect but the wife say it is. But I'm on my way.[ATTACH]11316[/ATTACH] picture is not perfect. But I don't care. It's done and no one can take it back.

Keep in mind YOU know about ALL the 'Gee I wish I had done it differently/better'. No one else does! They are 'judging' the final result.

It's a lot better than what I could do.

Also, we used to have a saying when I lived in S.W. Missouri....If it looks good from a galloping horse, it's fine.

Nice job on your pen. Making pens is like eating potato chips. It is hard to just do one.

I used the slimline from rockler with the bubinga, I am going to do more this weekend. I used mineral spirits to clean the work and then I used CA with 4 coats. I have watched about 100 hours (I kid you not) before I did my first pen. Thank you guys , this is a great project for me to work on and I hope to make some that will make you guys jealous..
