I just saw an ad for sales full and part time, local and regional, in craig's list for ShopSmith!
Here it comes, a full comeback.

When I spoke with Mike at the local demo, he verified that they were looking for local sales reps in the seattle area and beyond. I would assume nation wide most likely.

I did not equip with Shopsmiths in spite of the setups but because of them.

I lived there when I was working for Rockwell. It is a nice community and well situated to the Dallas Stadium. It used to be the home of Incra - don't know if they are still there or not.

Can hardly see this again. I really miss those demos in the malls and home centers. This is way cool. Thanks for the post.:D

Edit: First line should have read, "Can hardly wait to see this operation again." Sorry for the word missing.

When I go to the Indiana State Fair or one of the home or garden shows I can't help from looking around "just in case"...
It isn't like I just developed a recent interest in them. When I bought my first one new in 1988 I had been drooling all over them for 28 years. :)

My first time to see a Shopsmith was in the late 1970's, just graduating from my apprenticeship in government work. Didn't have the money to purchase one, but drooled until about 2 1/2 years ago when I acquired my first one. Now I have two and I get to use them on clear days. Learning, but also productive. Love that Shopsmith is still around, has supportive parts and most parts are backward compatible. What a concept and machine!:D
