Taper Jig Question

Is this what we are trying to build?

No attempt was made to properly size the pieces. Chester did not define the height and I am uncertain as to the number of sides. Many windmills have more than four sides.

I thik it's been made clear but I'll shoot again anyway. When I use my taper jig, for table legs for example I place the leg in the jig and then make the first cut. To then cut the same taper on another side of the leg, I take the cutoff and double side tape it back into place. Then I put the leg back in the jig for the second cut. It's very easy and since I have jigs for a number of leg lengths there is no measuring.

Yup. That is what you said the first time. However, this works for you because you have developed a jig which no one else has. It also sounds as though you are planning butt joints in the corners. Also, what do you plan to do with the top and bottom edges which are no longer level (tilted by the angle of the walls).

This gets a bit more complicated than a table leg; especially if there is to be more than four sides.

Now I unnerstand the ds tape. Legs gots wider 'edges'!;)

I like Arts abcd arrangement better.(no compound cuts/bevels) CMC1 never mentioned bevels!

See what happens when non-concise verbal descriptions of a process is given. Waaay too many optional actions!:D
