Which OneWay Lathe Chuck for an SS510?

Hi Guys;
I use the One Way Talon and the adaptor for SS is #0260 from One Way. The chuck is very well balanced and easy to use.

What kind of price are we talking about ?
All in one tools has it in Canada for 199$ and include the adaptor for SS + shipping + taxes ... would I find a better deal in US, canadian and US $ are almost at par ...
Is this a good deal ?

Thanks for the great information guys! I guess I'm leaning on not using the used OneWay Talon available nearby my house and probably just bite the bullet and get either a proper OneWay Talon from SS direct (meaning I don't need to use two adaptors when used with the SS) or try the PSI Utility Grip 4 chuck available for <1/2 of the Talon cost. Both seem to have very good reviews -- anyone have any issues with the PSI chuck? I noticed that they've also got a Barracuda 4-jaw model for a bit more (but still less than the Talon) that is for "full-sized" lathes with 10" swings or larger which sounds like it would be OK for SS use.

Also-- anyone know where the PSI chucks are made? Are they made here in the USA or elsewhere? I didn't see anything indicating that on their site..

If it's the one for $89 I'm going to guess China. The US ones in the MSc catalog are normally more.

I bought the Oneway Talon through Shopsmith. Came with the correct adaptor, correctly assembled.

If you buy the Oneway (Talon or Stronghold, but I don't do big stuff, so I prefer the Talon) from another source, you need to buy the adaptor, then, disassemble the taperlock adaptor out of the chuck and assemble in the Shopsmith taperlock adaptor. The taperlock adaptors are tightened in with great force.

I really don't recommend stacking one adaptor in front of another. You want your chuck to be as close to your spindle bearings as you can, so you have a nice stiff connection (especially if you're swinging a 10" diameter turning around!)
