Shopsmith SPT and accessory cart

This simple saw horse from Home Depot made a nice, quick and cheap SPT and accessory cart. I added the shelving from scrap. The roller base is an HTC2000, $59 but worth it.

I tried to leave a comment but once again Yahoo signin gave me a hassle. I knew there was at least one reason why I quit going there. Now I suspect too much time has passed since my last successful signin.

At any rate, nice job, Tom. It looks like it was all meant to be together. The height is near perfect for moving the jointer on/off the storage cart.

Maybe you could sketch that sawhorse in Sketchup and post it.

Thanks Dusty. I'll see if I can figure out Sketchup and do a drawing. In the mean time, the saw horse itself is from Home Depot. They probably carry it at your local store for some hands on measuring or just to grab one.

I tried to attach the picture right in my message but I could not make it work. There must be a trick to it. Any advice would be much appreciated.

That's nice, Tom. I've been thinking on how I might better store my SPTs to possibly include re-basing my 500 on a cabinet and add some SPT storage space.

Here you go Tom very nice cart indeed and it looks much easier to make then the previous thread on making one from scratch which was also very nice.

Thanks Michael. I would call mine a quick and dirty version, functional but maybe not as nice to look at. My favorite part was discovering the htc2000 mobile base. Very impressive at a nice price. I'm on a mission now. Everything is going on wheels!
