I like it as well. Thanks for sharing. Also your picture turned on a light in my mind, as I have a double door like your picture in my shop as well and never thought of putting a shelf above the door. That's what is so good about this forum, always getting ideas and such.

Dave,
Well done, I like the blade in the bandsaw, nice touch. You have room up there for a lot of SPT's.

I have found that the space over doors and windows is excellent for storing light weight items. In the past I have run such shelves completely around a room at the height of the highest window or door frame and still need to install this into my mom's sewing room. Use shims to fill in the gaps on the lower frames.
