Reading between the lines I got the feeling that it was to be an attempt at fiction (maybe a murder mystery?) but that could be wrong too... I have not followed up to see if he has published anything in the last few years.

I have several writing projects that I have been just working at off and on for several years. A couple are reasonably near completion and the only one likely to produce income of consequence is one page of book and 2,000 pages of notes. :)
