I checked on buying the Shopsmith Journals by Rick Smith with SS on the 800 line today but the fella told me that the free shipping was on orders over $75.
I'll have to add it to an order.

The collective knowledge and woodworking wisdom here is awsome! You will also benefit from the frequent postings of Nick Engler, the head of Shopsmith's Academy. Nick may very well be the most knowledgeable woodworking instructor in the country.
I purchased my Shopsmith in '83. It has been upgraded to 520 Pro Fence and through the years it has proven to be a very valuable investment. I actually feel sorry for those guys who don't know any better, and go down to their local "big box" and purchase cheap Asian power tools.
