Irregular stock ripping 500 model method

If you have been checking in on some of my recent post you know I'm rebuilding some of the jigs and fixtures that I use to have when I first owned a 500 and then lost along the way when I upgraded to a 520. This is also one of the ones that I really liked from the 500 model. This idea doesn't work on the new 510/520 tables but it will work if you use a lowered and height adjusted extension table with the rip fence mounted to provide straight edge to work off of. If you do the reading listed below they have pictures and additional words if that wasn't clear.

This is super easy to build, two work pieces and 4 holes... no extra hints and tips given nor are they needed I'd say.

Don't forget the bolts, washers, and wing nuts.

Good point, I think the minimum bolt length is 2-1/2", I used hex head cause that is what I had in that length, might be due for another hardware run time time soon. Oh yea it is 1/4-20 hardware.
