Here's the guide I was following for my planer knife setting jig.

Since I can't adjust my cutterhead, rollers, bed, or anything else, I just focused on the knives. I set them 0.032"above the lowest point of the infeed roller. My cutterhead was in perfect parallel with the bed, but I found the infeed roller was 0.015" out of parallel with the bed.

New Jig
I use quite a bit of plywood with solid wood edging. I have a flush trim jig that I've used for years but I decided that after looking at this one in ShopNotes (Issue 125) that it would be a lot easier to use. I'm really happy with it after a couple of projects.
In these pictures I'm removing dowel pin ends that were cut proud.
One of the great things about making jigs, and I'm sure most of you will agree, is that after years of this hobby you have whatever you need on hand for something like this. I did need 4 - 20mm screws to attach the jig to the router but I had a nice walk to the hardware store, stopped for a coffee a MacDonalds and then headed home.
