I would love to see more of the capabilities of the Overhead Pin Router. Especially when the OPR is used in the horizontal fashion, to cut mortises, tenions and making raised panels(using vertical bits instead of the huge dia horizontal bits).

I would love to see demo's of the new products like the Kreg bandsaw fence, Incra Mitre express, the new storage cabinets and while it isn't that new the whole incra fence system.

The thing I would like to see the most is the answer to statement,
"Shopsmith is okay but once you change it over to another function you can't get it back to original settings should you need a duplicate piece".
Nick I would like to see you demonstrate some of the methods you use to get back to an original setup. Do you simply measure depth and set the the table height, width and set the fence or do you use the original as a standard by which you set the machine up? What cautions do you need to worry about like scratching the original, making sure your on the right tooth of the blade, that the controls/adjustments are set correctly and locked, etc.
I think if done properly this can be used to put to bed that old arguement.

I would like to see more bandsaw work, using it to cut dovetails, tendons, ripping precious wood board (mimimize waste), cutting circles, and etc.

I think the biggest I like is the little secrets that you have been showing us, things like that tiny plane you carry to sweeten a cut, installing the sleeve and insert assembly that tightens up the Adjustable table so tighten is always a upward movement, things you do to your own SS to make it work better for you.

You did a session on shop air and dust collection how about one on shop lighting and task lighting.

There has been much discussion on humidity and such on wood storage. How about a session on wood storage, use of stickers, vertical versus horizontal, environment, also include sheet goods and scrape storage. Sharing space saving tips and ideas.

Also it would be good to do a session just on space saving ideas. After all many Shopsmith users are pressed for space no matter how big their shop. What ideas do you and Drew have to save more space?

Drawer construction especially focusing on different methods of making drawer slides.

Love to see that out feed table you have eluded to in times past!

One thing I got a lot of information on was Nick's recent discussion of Chinese plywood. It was very informative and I made the mistake of buying a sheet of this before this session came out. I will now pay more money so long as the plywood doesn't come from China.

As a begginer myself, another nice thing to see would be to how to work through, around, or fix the various bows, bends, warps, etc, that wood has using the bandsaw, jointer, planer, etc. I think this would make for some really good material as reading about it in books only goes so far.

Some great ideas for Sawdust Sessions! We should have a real encyclopedia of knowledge archived when all those get done.

A couple of thoughts I had that I would like to see in a Sawdust Session:

1) Techniques of pattern sawing for table saw and for band saw

2) Building table saw jigs. Besides the cove cutting setup, I would also like to see a jig to address the old crown molding issue. Something that would allow a compound cut without having to tilt the table to an odd angle. And any other slick jigs Nick might have up his sleeve.

As I have stated in a different post: My ISP connection is just good enough to receive the live sessions, it is not good enough to view the archived sessions, but, I think I may be able to view them through my new youtube account. I will be trying that when I get a little time.

Right click on the window and select settings, one of the tabs is memory usage. Increase it as much as you can afford. That should improve the performance.

Tried that before, set it all the way up. Did not help. I am not looking for a solution. I know the solution is a better connection. I know that I have a lousy connection. I have been through this on other posts on this forum. I used to live where I had a good connection. No longer true. My system is good. All programs are up-to-date. Connection is bad. At this time, I am not willing to pay more for a better connection.

Sorry it did not help, I am in Tucson very far from a good WiFi connection but the change did allow me to watch Nick's latest video postcard. I just start the video and immediately stop it, wait until the whole video loads and hit play.

I have one more thing which I saw in a store recently and I'm curious as to how they made it.

It was a small wooden jar that had a thread top which screwed into the jar. It was sort of like a small spice jar but the threaded jar & cap were rather interesting. If the shopsmith can pull that off, I'd love to see that.
