That's what I see (a 510 main table and rip fence) but not sure it has table posts/trunnions.

I didn't either but his quote of the ad says it includes them. That makes me wonder what else is not pictured? This could end up being an extremely good deal if there are hidden gems. A full inventory would be very useful indeed!

With the sparse info seen, I would start at $50. The paint appears oxidized, the jointer and jig saw are not apparent and the 510 table/fence greatly confuses the issue. Depending on what is in(or not in) the crate could alter that 'offer'. If it runs 'correctly' and the SPTs do also it is worth more.


Looks like a 'project' to me! Maybe the toilet will make it look better!:D

It also looks like a SS Inc. offspring.


Closer examination reveals:

The belt cover on the ground???

The 510 table has no trunion.

It has a 500 lower saw guard mounted.

It has a 510 lower saw guard in the crate.

The casters have the crank close to the end.(probably 1970's vintage).

The paint appears 'smooth'.(1970's again).

It likely started life as Mark 5 from SS Inc.

At least it has a drill chuck key!

Apparently it doesn't run correctly. Reading over on the Lumbejock's site where he's got 2 theads up about this listing the owner is telling him it trips the breaker.

And great detective work on location. I live in Portland Oregon and the SS is closer to Corvallis.
By chance are any of you in the area?

The seller says that he has a 15amp breaker and it tripped it after running for a few minutes.
Is that a reason for concern? I assumed that he just needed a larger breaker...

Also sounds like there are quite a few pieces here and I will have to ask for more pictures. The jointer/jig saw are not pictured.
