Worknhard, I'm guessing from the Colorado locations that you're the inventor on this? Looks really cool. If so how long are the rails? Any chance of seeing a video of the fence and sliding table in action?

Thanks Reddog. The rails are 41”, however like the BT3000 saw, one can add an extension rail set to increase the length. This set-up can pretty much share the same versatility/features that the BT3000 enjoys, you just have to keep in mind that the SS is a tilt table saw with table height adjustment. Attaching out-feed tables or extension tables need to take this into account. Unfortunately I do not have any videos at this time. I'm guessing there are videos of the BT3000 on the net that will give you a good idea of the miter table operation. From my biased perspective, it is a great addition to the SS.

I'll have to do some looking. I've never seen a BT3000 in the wild. But it seems like everyone who has used one loved it. The fan base is almost as rabid as SS guys. I'm running a 510 and while the fence is adequate it's not great. I've been looking for a 520 upgrade for a while but just can't make myself pull the trigger at the price that SS wants new. Your solution looks like it might be a great alternative, especially with the addition of the sliding table. Kudos on the innovation.
