Ithought i posted an update but it's gone.
From what I 've learned they were use as an extension of work space.When Gandma made homemade noodles she'd roll them out and cut them to size.She'd place them on the "Noodle Board"
to dry before putting them in the soup or whatever.

New and interisting to me ...i've always seen them hung on a dryer like the little folding one for drying clothes indoors ...from my youth...

Here's my newest piece.A Reclaimed barn wood Workbench with an antique vise..I'll eventually add a tail vise of some sort.Someday I'll make a real nice Hardwood workbench and hand this one down to whoever is helping out at the time.I like the overall looks of this one though.Not bad for about 8hrs.work.Enjoy

They're actually just nail holes in the Reclaimed wood.I just lightly sanded the old rough sawn 6x6s.
