I am not going to guess where this is going but I will answer that at any point along the workpiece it will be an equal distance, given that the reference edge was tight to the fence at that point.
When you add parallel you are now talking about a line, that line will depend on other factors. The possibilities then start dealing with are we talking real world wood working or theory based on geometry.
For our style common woodworking you should be parallel within the limits of tolerances. Since wood is a "live" it could be as much a factor as the processing methods and techniques we apply to do the cutting.
Do we live in a perfect world? How likely is our woodworking to be perfect? Best summed up as if we take care it will be parallel with in reason.
