I am surprised at that comment. Especially from Beeg. The first thing to do is lubricate and then you need to 'check alignment'. I doubt that you will have to do much alignment.

What gets lubed on a Mark 7? Maybe some wax on the tubes....

That's Why I said to "check alignment". DON'T KNOW if there's any lubing to be done to a power pro. BUT loading/unloading it could knock it out of a unknown alignment.

You are absolutely correct, Beeg. I am just hung up on old habits. Don't worry though. I will find something in the shop to lubricate.

I got my Mark 7 from the factory and have all the small stuff that's included, but . . . now I have to scour the local classifieds (craigslist) for the big extras like your band saw and strip sander, among other things.

Glad to hear that. The manuals can be a bit confusing at times (new owner here) since they're combined with Mark V instructions. I thought I saw something about waxing the spindle, but since mine has a light film of oil from the factory, I left it alone for now.

I waxed the other tubes and table tops, too.
