Very nice work. Are you using a laser to etch your designs? Acrylic or glass?
I need to revisit my project of the same type of thing. I created one "alpha" version on my CNC from a piece of scrap 2x4, came out looking pretty decent for lousy wood. Laser etched the name in acrylic, purple LED light strip, included a rocker switch in a panel in the back of the base. I hope to get the height of my design to allow use of 4/4 material.

CNC I wish! This is blasted in acrylic. I am playing with different stencil material and blasting media, but I am getting that dialed in.
I can only hope that someday I can afford a CNC but they are becoming a bit more affordable. I keep hoping to see one on Craigs List cheap! LOL

I've been watching a couple laser engraving forums. The "pros's" often will blast glass as it is apparently easier, faster, better "frosting", and more consistent than trying to do on a laser, especially for multiples. I've noticed that my attempts with laser engraving acrylic result in more of a wax paper look rather than the nice frost that you appear to have.
Have you tried mylar for your stencils? Several of the aforementioned cut the design into mylar with the laser then sandblast the object. I'd like to try sandblasting at some point, but don't presently have a place to put a cabinet, nor am I sure that my air compressor can power one (at least not constantly, perhaps enough for something this size though).
Have you looked at the Shapeoko 3 CNC? It is much beefier than the previous versions and only a grand for everything but the spindle (and of course end mills and other misc. stuff). Of course, good software will hurt your pocket, although Vectric has added a couple intermediate versions of their product lines at a decent discount.

I have not looked seriously because I know that it will cost two arms and three legs which I don't have!
Actually if I get one, I'd like to get a fairly large one. The reason is that I cut some 32 inch patterns in polycarbonate by hand and wouldn't mind being able to make the patterns more accurate and be more consistent with a cnc.
I guess I am more talking a router cnc than a laser cnc. I have seen people engrave acrylic with a cnc router on utube. Everyone is an expert on utube correct? LOL
Yes I have a large enough compressor. But I am only using about 50 lbs of air, so it isn't using that much cfm. Mine doesn't run that often. For occasional use, I think a smaller compressor would work fine.
There is vinyl that is designed for painting and blasting. That is what I am using for a stencil, and can cut any design that I have available on a vinyl cutter. (decal cutting machine)
