thanks I have the arbors just cant remember how to set it up

Do you have the arbor and rub collars that I mentioned in the previous post.

Maybe these will help. Realize that my cutters are completely different than yours. You must select the rub collars that work with your cutters.

First a perception correction!

The cutters are not different for reversed rotation, but reversed for opposite mating parts. From the pix it appears there are two different sizes.

The two larger ones are used to make mating parts. Think of vertical and horizontal parts. Typically the vertical parts have an edge shaped by one of the cutter pair. The horizontal part has its 'end' shaped by the second of the pair. That allows the end of the second part to mesh/fit against the edge of the first part.

I have intentionally not used the 'normal' terms for the two 'parts'.


I have never had this set at hand, so this may not be totally accurate.

I think the smaller cutters do the same but at smaller dimensions. Really out on a limb with that!

I know exactly what you are asking, Captain Tom. Wow! you got a lot of replies! Doesn't seem many folks have this set.

I have been at the same quandary as you. This set is a bearcat to re-assemble once spread out. I hope I can find my instructions regarding this set. I'll look this afternoon -- Wish me luck!

I feel and know your problem

Assembled cutters on a couple of arbors. Just show the orientation of the cutters - no rub collars set up. You have to figure that out on the particular project.

You don't have to use all 6 unless you want to stick and cope both sides of the door or frame.4 cutters and a rub collar, or two, for each side are plenty for Cope & Stick on one side.

There is no coverage for the specific cutters in question but I believe the questions will all be answered.

If you ordered a shaper unit or the shaper/drum sander fence, you can find a profile diagram of the "complete cabinet set" of 6 cutters on the back page with diagram shapes of other cutters. The complete set is located in the lower left corner of the page.
