@JPG I hope you are weathering okay?

Mind set my A..! He does what he needs to do under his constraints.
My shop is 15x15ft, TS with an extension out feed table, BS, 6inx4ft jointer, lunch box planer on stand, CP miter saw on stand, 2x4 finishing table, 18in deep X 30in cabinet, ER, Jet 1100DC, and a 24x84in work bench with a greenie tucked in on the backside of it.
IMHO the smaller the shop area the more imperative to be organized, since you dont have the luxury of a larger space. I find it to be self discipline, but then I had nuns for 8 years as teachers/torturers/domestic terrorist.

I went out to the local restore to check out some potential stock for making router jigs but it was too thin.... But:
So I added a few fasteners to my collection. Most of which I can use the nail driver on.
I got a few other things too but they are not related to this thread. Got out with a bag full for under $10. The bag is smaller then the normal grocery bag.

Ed, I have one of those stores near me, I try and hit it once a week, I have gotten some real deals there, it is hit and miss, but on my way to the BB store. Once they had a whole kitchen set of lower and upper cabinets, Colonial style in real Maple for about 500$ a real bargain, in mint condition.
I talked to the manager, about pricing on most things, 50% of new is there guide lines.

OBTW I am a glue and screw guy, even have some #2 size screws, they hold much better the a Brad. I was thinking about a pin nailer, but after the research they dont hold, still need the glue or other devise.

I love my pin nailer. Do they hold all by themselves can be an issue but they do hold parts in place of clamps. Some molding could be / is very difficult to clamp until the glue sets, in comes the pin nailer. And it is really fast.

Back when Norm had his tv series I saw him using nails for clamps and envy turned to yea I can do that too. One of many things I learned from his shop showings. Perhaps it is time to rethink your nailing options?

Couldn't agree more, Ed. I have a Porter Cable PIN100 and just love it.

I agree about the pin nailer, buddy we shared a shop with till a few years ago had the compressor and pinner, worked nice for small moldings things with glue, I dont need one yet, but would get one and C when needed. For less then 150$ can get both. MIC of course.

Oh riable, just hit that shop post of yours with the pics, nice, but how many hammers and scissors do you need?????LOL Not to mention the other collection of tools. I keep it KISS, but it looks nice, now just a personal thing for light refection, I buy the white 4x8 peg board, 2$ more a sheet but I like light, getting older I guess. More light but still cant see
