No the other one was NOT cluttered, but I think shifting either the top(idler shaft) or the motor so the belt positions coincide would be helpful and less confusing.
My point was I may have mislead you re the positions of the floating sheaves and the opposing fixed sheave. Both posted views show what I was in error about.(the fixed.movable sheaves align at the extreme settings).
What is more accurate is for the belt tracking to be consistent in both views at ALL speed settings. The belt should run perpendicular to the pulleys.
