Welcome to the forum. It would seem school will be staring for you rather soon. My wife and I recently moved home to Lakewood from Virginia and are loving being home. I would be neat to visit with you sometime. fjimp
That would be great. Though I have had some woodworking successes, I still have a lot to learn.

Yea, I have already reported back to school to set up my classroom and take part in meetings and inservices. School begins for the kiddos later this week.

Plans

Post by berry »

Your local library might very well have wood working magazines that you can thumb through for ideas and or plans. Wood Magazine and Woodsmith are two popular woodworking magazines that have plans. You can always Google or Bing. Or take your wife to store or museum and find something she likes then take pictures and measurements. It will be challenging but that's when woodworking is the most rewarding. Have fun and send us pics when it's complete.

Thanks Berry! I have tried the library, but they don't have any woodworking magazines at the location near my house. We have an idea of what she wants. I would like to look at plans to see how drawers are correctly assembled and how the dresser cabinet joints are created. My woodworking background has been mainly wooden puzzles and puzzle boxes benches and folding camp tables such as this one:

This table is about 10 years old and well used.
