depends on whether you disassemble it or not. Disassembly is not too difficult, and you can move it with one person. Basic tools are screwdrivers, a 9/16" wrench, an adjustable wrench (for the nuts inside the legs), a 5/32" allen wrench (the one that comes with the shopsmith, but bring one just in case), and a ~2' length of 2x4 to help get the headstock off.wingman2010 wrote:He hasn't called yet but I got to thinking:

I searched the forum but I couldn't find a thread on this. Pictures of what to do would be great, even if it's just to identify the parts! All suggestions are welcome.
If you have a truck - no disassembly is needed. If you have a car, I would go in stages until it fits. Headstock first, then legs. After that, if the base assembly won't fit as is (often it will), then unbolt the bench tubes and unscrew the way tubes.
