Interesting. I was planning to:
1. Create the joint features
2. Glue the board edges together
3. Saw the curved edges

My reasoning was to keep the board edges square and parallel for clamping. If I were to saw the curved edges on each board prior to gluing, wouldn't clamping be difficult? But I guess I could keep the curved off-cut pieces to help make false square edges... good ideas all.

Your reasoning is the way to go -- joint - glue - cut.

JPG is right. No mention of a frame.:confused:
I was imagining several vertical boards, tongue and grooved, with the arch on top, stiles on the sides and another rail on the bottom, framing in the verticals.
I was answering a question not asked. :o

No confusion Gene....no one ask for an analysis of forces on the gate either but just look, we got it free of charge.

Whatever method you use, make one setup and cut 6 times. For example: don't cut one T&G set, and repeat, rather cut 6 grooves, then set up to cut the 6 tongues.
