Real nice setup and an exceedingly good price. You are definitely the winner on this deal.

But your shop building is what I envy. That is fabulous. I would love to have a stand alone building like that for my shop.

BTW - there seems to be one item missing from the setup - a floating table. I believe there should be two floating tables. As a trade off - you have an extra extension table. There is typically only one extension table - however, I bought a second one because it comes in so handy.

PS: NOPE, nothing is missing. That right hand extension table is actually a floating table and a tail stock.

I'm pretty excited about the shop too. It's been a long long time coming. After 20+ years of moving around the with the military we've finally put down roots an got that 10 acres of paradise that we've always dreamed of. I planned to build a barn with a woodshop in one end but realized that it's going to be at least a few more years before I can build that, so this is a compromise of sorts (standalone shop is better anyways). I didn't want an ordinary boring outbuilding, so when I suggested the schoolhouse design the wife, being a teacher, was all in! She also wants me to build a matching boy/girls "outhouse" to store lawn/garden tools .
It's my own design, I just looked at photos online to get ideas, then sketched it out on graph paper. Once I felt the dimensions were about right I started pounding boards together. It's 16x24 with a 4x6 entry. there's a loft over the back 10'.
It's probably way over-engineered but that's ok. Did it myself with the help of my son and a few good friends and neighbors for the heavy lifting. I have an electrician coming to bring me some power this week. Planning to use Hardi board siding and of course painting it red. Not sure how I'm going to do the roof yet, I'd like to use metal but have never worked with it before so I may just stick with what I know (shingles), any suggestions?
I'm in Georgia and the sun is intense so whichever way I plan to use a light color (probably gray) to reflect some of the heat, I hope that will look ok?
I've got several photos of the progress if anyone's interested I'll send them. Otherwise I'll post a couple more pix when it's finished.

I think I can speak for many here on the forum. We all LOVE photos.
