The change to the clamps, to adapt the duplicator to the E or ER, is really a simple operation.
Skip, the owner of the Yahoo ER group has done a few.
You all would be surprised just what "not made for the ER" will actually work, with simple modifications.

thanks Fred, that looks like an ideal setup for the smaller items that I would be turning on it...

After reading through the helpful comments I went with the ER and purchased parts for it and have started turning pens. It has worked very well and I am hoping to step up to larger turnings before too long. Thanks for your expertise!
