As I recall it is some oak that I reclaimed from a neighbor. It seems to me I made a bunch of blanks that were about 10" square and 3/4" thick. I cut a bunch of rings and then assembled them into a number of different shapes and sizes. The rings were cut using the 5/16" indexing scale. I am just getting around to putting a finish on one of them for my wife's birthday.

I was only thinking unblemished surface(no screw/chisel holes).

Was leery of my '1', but if double sticky tape work . . . . . I now know 2.

Very nice job. Where did you get your Ring Master from? I have been looking for one but have been having trouble finding one. Can't wait to see your follow-on projects.

I recently purchased a 10ER from Dallas Craigslist the guy had several shopsmith items, one being the Ringmaster. Paid $50 bucks for it. Several on EBay and the attachment needed for the shopsmith, but you are looking at $500 bills all said an done. I love it and see great things capable from it. Will keep you posted.
