Ok. I'm seeing what you mean. Old eyes have to get close to see
thanks for the help guys. I noticed many of you have the exhaust port. Is there instructions etc to mount one of those?

This happened on my Microlux bandsaw. It was burning on some really hard wood. I sprayed the blade liberally and boom! I replaced the blade with a new one and all was good.

Hi Puttn! Just dawned on me there might be an easy fix for the burning problem. - - THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE TO ONE OF OUR FORUM MEMBERS Take a look at your blade. It may be mounted upside down. That is the teeth may be pointed up rather than down. If this is your situation, it's easy to fix!

Also, it is a wise thing to take the tension off of the blade to leave it on the bandsaw. Constant pressure on the upper wheel arm can cause it to twist slightly. After this happens tracking will be off and in a worse condition, it can cause your blade to come off the wheels.

Let's face it- Silicone is a darned good lubricant the will both, repel sawdust and preserve and re-condition rubber. A woodworker just has to be careful to keep silicone from areas where it will spread or spill onto wood that will be finished.

To eliminate silicone from a wood shop is like eliminating a sharp blade because I once got cut by one.

For some reason I thought you had to buy the whole cover? Are they still in business and shipping? Last year I ordered the DVD's and never did get them.

Where does the exhaust port mount? I've got my SS sandwiched in between my workbench and a couple of Festool tables and if it mounts fairly high just under the table I'll have room for it. If not I'm not going to be able to get everything to fit in line. I'm sharing a 3 car garage with 3 cars so everything really has to fit.
