It has been too long since I've updated this thread:
For our family weekend I made a set of "cornhole boards":
My daughter enjoyed the game so much I made her a set for Christmas:

Based on designs in Nick Engler's "Workshop Companion" I built this router table and stand for my new (bigger) CNC:

Using the afore-mentioned CNC I carved this 11x11 sign for my son and his bride's 1st anniversary. A bit of explanation is in order. For their wedding reception I had four cases of "custom" beer brewed by a local microbrewer. This plaque is a copy of the labels I made for the bottles.
My son's bride has a beloved beagle name Seymore. Seymore has only one eye and is thus pun-ishly named. I took the pun, and the one eye one step further and christened Pirate Dog Ale by "Sea-Moor" Brewery.
My son has a doctorate in Mathematics, and she is a Veterinarian, which pretty much gets you up to speed on this:

(about 7" across -- maple and cheap walnut)

My daughter is visiting and we are making woodcraft drawing pencils. Mine got done first since mornings are not her forte.
